TFT displays are a type of active-matrix liquid crystal display (LCD) that employs thin-film transistors to control individual pixels. The TFT matrix is laid over the LCD panel, allowing for precise control of each pixel's behavior. These transistors serve as switches, allowing or blocking the passage of an electric charge to each pixel.

In a TFT display, each pixel comprises three sub-pixels – one for red (R), one for green (G), and one for blue (B). These primary colors combine to create a wide spectrum of colors visible to the human eye. The transistors in the TFT layer are organized in a matrix, with each transistor corresponding to a single pixel.

When an electric charge is applied to a particular transistor, it opens, allowing current to pass through to the corresponding sub-pixel. This electric charge alters the orientation of liquid crystal molecules in the LCD layer, controlling the passage of light and resulting in the display of specific colors at that pixel.

TFT displays are often combined with touch-sensitive overlays, creating a versatile and intuitive interface for users. Capacitive and resistive touch technologies are commonly used in TFT displays. Capacitive touchscreens utilize the electrical properties of the human body to detect touch, offering a smooth and responsive user experience. Resistive touchscreens, on the other hand, rely on pressure to register touches, making them suitable for applications where gloved hands or styluses may be used.

TFT displays find applications in various industries, each harnessing the technology for different purposes. In consumer electronics, TFT displays are prevalent in smartphones, tablets, laptops, and televisions, providing users with immersive visual experiences and interactive interfaces. In the automotive industry, TFT displays serve as infotainment systems, instrument clusters, and heads-up displays, enhancing the driving experience and safety.

1.What kinds of display does HEM have?

 HEM is specializing in manufacturing TFT LCD display, Monochrome LCD display,Touch Screen, customized LCD panel, COB and COG display.  

 2.How can I find the right product?

Please send us your requirements or datasheet, we will recommend our standard products, if it’s not fit, we will do the necessary adjustment & customization.

3. Do you accept sample order or small quantity order?

Yes, you can place 4 inch TFT sample orders for testing first, and small quantity order as pilot production (no less than MOQ)

 4.What’s the lead time?

 Usually 3~5 days for 4 inch TFT sample orders if goods are in stock, and 4~5 weeks for mass production (basing on the quantity and particular product).

5.What’s your order process?

evaluating the project and give quotation→confirming with the customers→customers 100% pay the tooling fee and samples cost in advance→we arrange the drawings for customer in three woking days after received the payment→customers confirm the drawings→we arrange the production of samples in two or three weeks after the customers confirm the drawings are okay→send the sample to the customers for testing→modify the design according to the customer's opinion and send the sample again until the customer is satisfied→customer 30% payment in advance→batch production
